Story’s that Heal Workshop

A Gathering for Courage, Tenderness, and Truth

The Story You’ve Been Holding Is Trying to Tell You Something

Maybe it’s been living quietly in your body: in tension, in silence, in the spaces between breaths. For years, I carried such a memory. It surfaced in flashes, in moments I couldn’t explain. And for a long time, I thought the story itself was the problem.

It wasn’t. Holding it alone was.

You’ve carried it alone long enough. This is your invitation to lay it down, to be witnessed, not fixed. To remember what safety feels like in the company of others who are brave enough to tell the truth.

When I finally spoke it aloud, witnessed, something shifted. Peace didn’t arrive all at once. It unfolded. And in that unfolding, I discovered something deeper: my story wasn’t separate from the world’s story. It was part of a vast human tapestry of loss, resilience, and return.

Why We Gather

Something happens when stories are spoken aloud. Not rehearsed. Not performed. Just told.

A tremor moves through the room, recognition, release, relief. You see someone’s eyes soften because your words gave shape to something they’d never said. You realize: you’re not the only one who’s carried it.

We think healing means fixing what’s broken. It doesn’t. Healing means being seen.

When you share your story, the one you’ve tucked away, the one that feels “too much,” you open a doorway. Others step through. They exhale. And something ancient in all of us remembers what connection feels like.

This gathering is born from that moment. The one where isolation dissolves into connection, and silence turns into the sound of belonging.

We don’t come to fix each other. We come to remember what wholeness feels like—to let story become medicine, and truth become a bridge.

You Belong Here If:

  • You’ve been carrying something and you’re tired of carrying it alone
  • You know your body remembers things your mind tries to forget
  • You’re done with survival and ready to actually live
  • You understand that being witnessed changes everything
  • You want to help others the way you wish someone had helped you
  • You’re curious enough to question the stories you inherited

What Actually Happens Here

Not a performance. Not a fix. A gathering where:

  •  You speak from the heart (and discover others do too)
  •  Your nervous system learns what safety actually feels like
  •  The isolation breaks—because someone gets your story
  •  You question which inherited narratives still serve you
  •  You practice presence in a world obsessed with productivity
  •  You witness the moment someone else’s truth lands—and realize you gave them that gift

The Real Invitation

Most workshops promise transformation. We’re not promising that.

We’re inviting you to show up as you are, story, wounds, courage and all, and discover what happens when a group of people decides to be real together.

Come as the storyteller. Leave as the space in which every story unfolds.

“The stories we don’t tell run our lives. The stories we do tell—when witnessed—set us free.”

This isn’t about performing polished stories, it’s about speaking from the heart, and discovering that when one person speaks truthfully, everyone’s story moves.

Healing here isn’t about fixing wounds, it’s about integrating what was divided.

And courage isn’t about being fearless, it’s about showing up whole, even when the voice shakes.

What You’ll Experience

  •  Safe space to explore what you’ve been holding
  • Somatic practices to release what’s stuck in your body
  • Peer witnessing that transforms isolation into connection
  • Reflection on the narratives we’ve inherited
  • Gentle practices—contemplative, relational, embodied
  • Community: The quiet joy of people brave enough to tell the truth

The Deeper Invitation

We gather to speak our truth and listen from stillness, to explore how story can become a doorway to awareness.

Come as the storyteller. Leave as the space in which every story unfolds.

We start with the personal, move toward the universal, and rest in what’s beyond both.

What if healing happens not through the story itself, but through the awareness that holds it all?

Frequently Asked Questions

What This Workshop Actually Is, And Isn’t

What it is: A space where people gather to share stories, be witnessed, and explore the narratives that shape us. You’ll experience somatic practices, peer connection, and reflection in a small, intentional group.

What it isn’t: A cure. A quick fix. A promise that your trauma will be “healed” by the end of the day. We can’t offer that, and we won’t pretend to.

This workshop creates that condition: safe witnessing. What you do with that—how it shifts you—is your own unfolding.

What won’t happen: We won’t diagnose, prescribe, or promise transformation. We’ll tend to what’s present with care and honesty.

I Don’t Have a Big Story—Can I Still Attend?

Absolutely. You don’t need a “big” story to attend. Everyone’s experiences matter, regardless of perceived size or impact. Often, the stories we think are small carry unexpected meaning when shared authentically. Your presence, willingness to listen, and everyday experiences are all valuable contributions to our healing circle. The human experience is enough!

“Something had to die in me so I could truly live.”

What Might Shift When We Inhabit a Relational Space Together?

This workshop is built on that truth. Come discover yours.

A space for courage, tenderness, and truth.
